【摘要】:hisisafire-test-responsestandard.Thistestmethodisdesignedfortheassessmentoftheresistanceofupholsteredfurnituremock-upassembliestocombustionafterexposuretosmolderingcigarettesunderspecifiedconditions.Mock-uptestingisusefulinassessingtherelativeresistanceofcombustionofmaterialsusedinupholsteredfurnituresuchascovermaterials,cushioningmaterials,welts,etc.,inrepresentativecombinationsdisregardingthegeometricarrangementoftheseatingsurfaces,backs,andsidesoffurnitureitems.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7
