【摘要】:Thedeterminationofthetuftlengthofpileyarnfloorcoveringisusefulinqualityandcostcontrolduringthemanufactureofpileyarnfloorcovering.Bothappearanceandperformancecanbeaffectedbychangesinthischaracteristic.Incasetherearedisputabledifferencesbetweenreportedtestresultsfortwoormorelaboratories,comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Ataminimum,testsamplesshouldbeusedthatareashomogeneousaspossible,thataredrawnfromthematerialfromwhichdisputabletestresultswereobtained,andthatareassignedrandomlyinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftuftlengthandpileyarnlengthofuncoatedpilefloorcoverings.1.2Usuallythetuftelementsmeasuredasdirectedinthistestmethodwilleachbeboundatonlyonebindingsite,butthistestmethodalsomaybeusedfortuftelementsboundatmorethanonebindingsite,providedthateverytuftelementmeasuredisboundatthesamenumberofbindingsites.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsareprovidedasinformationonlyandarenotexactequivalents.Incaseofrefereedecisions,theSIunitsshallprevail.Thispracticedoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthispracticetoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
