【摘要】:N-Ethyldiethanolamine,N-methyldiethanolamineandtriethanolamineareSchedule3compoundsundertheChemicalWeaponsConvention(CWC).Schedule3chemicalsincludethosethathavebeenproduced,stockpiledorusedasachemicalweapon,posesotherwisearisktotheobjectandpurposeoftheCWCbecausetheypossesssuchlethalorincapacitatingtoxicityaswellasotherpropertiesthatmightenableittobeusedasachemicalweapon,posesotherwisearisktotheobjectandpurposeoftheCWCbyvirtueofitx2019;simportanceintheproductionofoneormorechemicalslistedinSchedules1or2,oritmaybeproducedinlargecommercialquantitiesforpurposesnotprohibitedundertheCWC.Ethanolamineshaveabroadspectrumofapplications.Theyareusedtoproduceadhesives,agriculturalproducts,cementgrindingaids,concreteadditives,detergents,specialtycleaners,personalcareproducts,gastreatments,metalwork,oilwellchemicals,packagingandprintinginks,photographicchemicals,rubber,textilefinishing,urethanecoatings,textilelubricants,polishes,pesticides,andpharmaceuticals.Ethanolaminesarereadilydissolvedinwater,biodegradableandthebio-concentrationpotentialislow.Thismethodhasbeeninvestigatedforusewithreagentandsurfacewater.1.1Thisprocedurecoversthedeterminationofdiethanolamine,triethanolamine,N-methyldiethanolamineandN-ethyldiethanolamine(referredtocollectivelyasethanolaminesinthistestmethod)insurfacewaterbydirectinjectionusingliquidchromatography(LC)anddetectedwithtandemmassspectrometry(MS/MS).Theseanalytesarequalitativelyandquantitativelydeterminedbythismethod.Thismethodadherestosinglereactionmonitoring(SRM)massspectrometry.1.2ThistestmethodhasbeendevelopedinsupportoftheNationalHomelandSecurityResearchCenter,USEPAbyRegion5ChicagoRegionalLaboratory.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4TheDetectionVerificationLevel(DVL)andReportingRangefortheethanolaminesarelistedinTable1.1.4.1TheDVLisrequiredtobeataconcentrationatleast3timesbelowtheReportingLimit(RL)andhaveasignal/noiseratiogreaterthan3:1.Fig.1displaysthesignal/noiseratiosattheDVLsandathigherconcentrationsforN-methyldiethanolamine.1.4.2ThereportinglimitistheconcentrationoftheLevel1calibrationstandardasshowninTable2fordiethanolamine,triethanolamine,andN-ethyldiethanolamineandLevel2forN-methyldiethanolamine.ThereportinglimitforN-methyldiethanolamineissetat50x03BC;g/Lduetopoorsensitivityata5x03BC;g/LconcentrationwhichdidnotmeettheDVLcriteria.TheDVLforN-methyldiethanolamineisat10x03BC;g/L,whichforcesaraisedreportinglimit(chromatogramsareshowninFig.1).However,themulti-laboratoryvalidationrequiredaspikeofalltargetanalytesat25x03BC;g/L.ThemeanrecoveryforN-methyldiethanolamineatthislevelwas88%asshowninTable3.Ifyourinstrumentx2019;ssensitivitycanmeettherequirementsinthistestmethod,N-methyldiethanolaminemayhavea25x03BC;g/Lreportinglimit.1.5Thisstandarddoes......
