【摘要】:Thispracticelistsproceduresfordeterminingtherelativethermalstabilityofsheetormoldedpoly(vinylchloride)compoundsasindicatedbydiscolorationduetoexposuretoanelevatedtemperatureatcontrolledovenconditions.Aspecimenpreparationtechniqueusingatwo-rollmillisprovidedforcompositionsthatarenotinmoldedorsheetedform.thispracticeisnotintendedforuseinpurchasingspecificationsbecausetheconditionsofprocessingplasticcompoundsvarywidely,andthedegreeofcorrelationofdataobtainedbythispracticetoprocessexposurehasnotbeendetermined.However,despitethislimitation,thispracticedoesyielddataofvalueinjudgingthecomparativeservicequalityofpoly(vinylchloride)compositions.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinbracketsaregivenforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-Thisstandardissimilarincontent,butnottechnicallyequivalenttoISO305-1990.
