【摘要】:ThispartofISO1431specifiesproceduresintendedforuseinestimatingtheresistanceofvulcanizedorthermoplasticrubberstocrackingwhenexposed,understaticordynamictensilestrain,toaircontainingadefiniteconcentrationofozoneandatadefinitetemperatureincircumstancesthatexcludetheeffectsofdirectlight.Greatcautionisnecessaryinattemptingtorelatestandardtestresultstoserviceperformancesincetherelativeozoneresistanceofdifferentrubberscanvarymarkedlydependingontheconditions,especiallyozoneconcentrationandtemperature.Inaddition,testsarecarriedoutonthintestpiecesdeformedintensionandthesignificanceofattackforarticlesinservicecanbequitedifferentowingtotheeffectsofsizeandofthetypeandmagnitudeofthedeformation.ExplanatorynotesonthenatureofozonecrackingaregiveninAnnexA.ReferenceandalternativemethodsfordeterminingtheozoneconcentrationaredescribedinISO1431-3.
