【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedureformeasuringedgetaperandcrownofflat-rolledelectricalsteelcoilsasproducedatthesteelmill.Thevaluesstatedineithercustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)unitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththistestmethod.Thefollowingmaterialspecificationsincluderequirementsforedgetaperorcrown:A677,A677M,A683/A683M,A726,A840,A840M,andA876/A876M.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesmethodsforanalysisofchloridesresultingfromhydrogenchlorideabsorption,accordingtoEN1911-2,inwastegaseshavingbeensampledandfilteredaccordingtoEN1911-1.Allcompoundswhicharevolatileatthefiltrationtemperatureandproducechlorideionsupondissolutionduringsamplingaremeasuredbythismethod,whichthereforegivesthevolatileinorganicchloridescontentofgasesexpressedasHCl.Inmostcases,thiscorrespondstothehydrogenchloridecontent;anindicativedistinctionbetweenhydrogenchlorideandvolatilechloridesmaybeachieved,usingadditionalchecks.ThisstandardalsospecifiesvalidationcriteriaforthewholeHClmeasurementmethoddescribedinEN1911-1,EN1911-2andEN1911-3,andindicatestheperformancecharacteristicsofthismeasurementmethod.

【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthegeneralrequirementsforevaluatingthelong-term,chlorinatedwater,oxidativeresistanceofpolyethylene(PE),usedincoldwatersupplyorservicesystemsbyexposuretochlorinatedwater.Thistestmethodoutlinestherequirementsofapressurizedflow-throughtestsystem,typicaltestpressures,test-fluidcharacteristics,failuretype,anddataanalysis.Note1Otherknowndisinfectingsystems(chlorinedioxide,ozone,andchloramine)arecurrentlyusedforprotectionofpotablewater;however,free-chlorineisbyfarthemostcommonsysteminusetoday.Disinfectingsystemsotherthanchlorinehavenotbeenevaluatedbythismethod.1.2Guidelinesandrequirementsfortesttemperatures,testhoopstresses,andothertestcriteriahavebeenestablishedbypriortestingofPEpipe.OtherrelatedsystemcomponentsthattypicallyappearinaPEcoldwatersupplyorservicesystemcanbeevaluatedwiththePEpipe.WhentestingPEpipeandfittingsasasystem,itisrecommendedthattheanticipatedend-usefittingtype(s)andmaterial(s)beincludedinthetestcircuitsinceitisknownthatsomefittingtypesandmaterialscanimpactfailuretimes.Specimensusedshallberepresentativeofthepipingproduct(s)andmaterial(s)underinvestigation.Note2Theproceduresdescribedinthistestmethod(withsomemodificationsoftesttemperaturesorstresses,orboth)havebeenusedtoevaluatepipesmanufacturedfrompolybutylene(PB),crosslinkedpolyethylene(PEX),polypropylene(PP),multilayer(polymer-metalcomposite),copper,andstainlesssteel.1.3ThistestmethodisapplicabletoPEpipeandsystemsusedfortransportofpotablewatercontainingfree-chlorinefordisinfectingpurposes.Theoxidizingpotentialofthetest-fluidspecifiedinthistestmethodexceedsthattypicallyfoundinpotablewatersystemsacrosstheUnitedStates.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
