【摘要】:Duetotheincreaseduseofadhesive-bondedplasticsasaresultoftheinherentadvantagesaffordedbybondedratherthanmechanicallyfastenedjoints,particularlythealleviationofstressraisersandstresscracking,thereisaneedforstandardtestsbywhichjointsofvariousplasticsubstratesandadhesivescanbecompared.Thistestmethodisintendedtomeetsuchaneed.Thistestmethodislimitedtotesttemperaturesbelowthesofteningpointofthesubjectadherends,andisnotintendedforuseonanisotropicadherendssuchasreinforcedplasticlaminates.Themisuseofstrengthvaluesobtainedfromthistestmethodasallowabledesign-stressvaluesforstructuraljointscouldleadtoproductfailure,propertydamage,andhumaninjury.Theapparentshearstrengthofanadhesiveobtainedfromagivensmallsingle-lapspecimenmaydifferfromthatobtainedfromajointmadewithdifferentadherendsorbyadifferentbondingprocess.Thenormalvariationoftemperatureandmoistureintheserviceenvironmentcausestheadherendsandtheadhesivetoswellandshrink.Theadherendsandadhesivearelikelytohavedifferentthermalandmoisturecoefficientsofexpansion.Eveninsmallspecimens,short-termenvironmentalchangescaninduceinternalstressesorchemicalchangesintheadhesivethatpermanentlyaffecttheapparentstrengthandothermechanicalpropertiesoftheadhesive.Theproblemofpredictingjointbehaviorinachangingenvironmentisevenmoredifficultifadifferenttypeofadherendisusedinalargerstructuraljointthanwasusedinthesmallspecimen.Theapparentshearstrengthmeasuredwithasingle-lapspecimenisnotsuitablefordeterminingallowabledesignstressesfordesigningstructuraljointsthatdifferinanymannerfromthejointstestedwithoutthoroughanalysisandunderstandingofthejointandadhesivebehaviors.Single-laptestsmaybeusedforcomparingandselectingadhesivesorbondingprocessesforsusceptibilitytofatigueandenvironmentalchanges,butsuchcomparisonsmustbemadewithgreatcautionsincedifferentadhesivesmayresponddifferentlyindifferentjoints.SeeGuideD4896forfurtherdiscussionoftheconceptsrelativetointerpretationofadhesivebondedsingle-lapjoints.1.1ThistestmethodisintendedtocomplementTestMethodD1002andextenditsapplicationtosingle-lapshearadhesivejointsofrigidplasticadherends.Thetestmethodisusefulforgeneratingcomparativeshearstrengthdataforjointsmadefromanumberofplastics.Itcanalsoprovideameansbywhichseveralplasticsurfacetreatmentscanbecompared.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesbasicrequirementswhichensurecompatibilitybetweenrailsystemscomplyingwiththisstandardandmedicalequipment,inordertopermittheinterchangeabilityofmedicalequipmentfromonerailsystemtoanother.Medicalequipmentcanbeattachedtoarailbyrailclampsdirectly,orviaothercomponentsofdimensionswhicharespecifiedinthisstandard.Railclampsarerequiredtobecompatiblewithrailswhicharewithinarangeofdimensionsspecifiedinthisstandard.Thespecificationsforrailsystemsincludedimensions,strengthandinformationtobesuppliedbythemanufacturer.Somemedicalequipmentcanbeattachedtotherailbymeanswhichareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.Thisstandardonlyappliestorailsystemsintendedtobemountedhorizontally.Itspecifiesneitherthestructuresnorthetypesofmedicalequipmentthataretobesupported.Itdoesnotapplytooverheadrailsystemsforsupportingcurtainsandinfusiondevices.NOTEItisexpectedthatparticularstandardswillbepreparedtocoverapplicationsforwhichtherailsystemspecifiedinthisEuropeanStandardisunsuitable,andparticulardevicestandardswillspecifywhetherornottherailsystemspecifiedinthisstandardistobefittedtothedevice.
