【摘要】:Excesssolublesulfateionsinhardenedcementcanresultinreduceddurability.Thistestmethodisintendedtoshowwhethercalciumsulfatehasbeenusedincementinsuchamounttoleaveexcesssolublesulfateinhardenedmortar.ThetestmethodisusedtoestablishcomplianceinSpecificationC595forthosecementsinwhichoptimizedSO3exceedsthetablelimit.Thistestmethodalsocanprovideusefulinformationonotherhydrauliccements,suchasthosespecifiedinSpecificationsC150andC1157.WhenthistestmethodisusedinconjunctionwithTestMethodC563,usetheappropriateageoftestspecimens(24h,3days,or7days)tocoincidewiththeageofspecimensusedinTestMethodC563.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofwater-extractableSO3inhardenedhydrauliccementmortar.Thismeasurementisassumedtorepresentunreacted,availablesulfateremaininginthemortar.1.1.1Warningx2014;Freshhydrauliccementiousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoskinandtissueuponprolongedexposure.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3ValuesinSIunitswereobtainedbymeasurementinSIunitsorbyappropriateconversionusingtheRulesforConversionandRoundinggiveninIEEE/ASTMSI-10Standardofmeasurementsmadeinotherunits.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
