【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequirementsandprovidesrecommendationsandguidanceforthedesign,construction,transportation,installationandremovalofoffshorestructures,relatedtotheactivitiesofthepetroleumandnaturalgasindustriesinarcticandcoldregions.ReferencetoarcticandcoldregionsinthisInternationalStandardisdeemedtoincludeboththeArcticandothercoldregionsthataresubjecttosimilarseaice,icebergandicingconditions.TheobjectiveofthisInternationalStandardistoensurethatoffshorestructuresinarcticandcoldregionsprovideanappropriatelevelofreliabilitywithrespecttopersonnelsafety,environmentalprotectionandassetvaluetotheowner,totheindustryandtosocietyingeneral.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotcontainrequirementsfortheoperation,maintenance,service-lifeinspectionorrepairofarcticandcoldregionoffshorestructures,exceptwherethedesignstrategyimposesspecificrequirements(e.g.17.2.2).WhilethisInternationalStandarddoesnotapplyspecificallytomobileoffshoredrillingunits(seeISO19905-1),theproceduresrelatingtoiceactionsandicemanagementcontainedhereinareapplicabletotheassessmentofsuchunits.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotapplytomechanical,processandelectricalequipmentoranyspecializedprocessequipmentassociatedwitharcticandcoldregionoffshoreoperationsexceptinsofarasitisnecessaryforthestructuretosustainsafelytheactionsimposedbytheinstallation,housingandoperationofsuchequipment.
