【摘要】:Theamountofmanganesedrierusedinoxidizing-typecoatingssignificantlyaffectstheirdryingproperties.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtoconfirmthestatedmanganesecontentofpureliquidmanganesedriersolubleintoluene-alcoholandmanufacturedforusebythecoatingsindustry.1.1Thistestmethodcoversatitrimetricdeterminationofmanganeseinliquidpaintdriersthatcanbedissolvedinatoluene-alcoholmixtureandutilizesthedisodiumsaltofethylenediaminetetraaceticaciddihydrate(EDTA).1.2Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletodrierblends.1.3AllcationsthatcanbetitratedwithEDTAinalkalinemediainterfereandmustnotbepresentinthesample.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
