【摘要】:この規格は,JISE5004-1に規定する鉄道車両用電気品に対する一般便用条件茂び一般規則に加えて,鉄道車両の電力回路,補助回路,制御回路,表示回路などに使われる電気機器に関する一般的な規則について規定する。すなわち,この規格の目的は,鉄道車両のすべての電気機器に対してJISE5004-1に規定する一般規則を適合させたうえで,その対応する電気機器の範囲に対する要求及び試験の統一を図るものである。ここでいう電気機器とは,制御と無関係な,主として開閉機器及び制御機器であるが,リレー,制御弁,抵抗器,ヒューズなども含む。
