【摘要】:Thisdocumentspecifiesatestmethodforthequantitativedeterminationofignitiondelayofmiddledistillatefuelsintendedforuseincompressionignitionengines.Themethodutilizesaconstantvolumecombustionchamberdesignedforoperationbycompressionignition,andemployingdirectinjectionoffuelintocompressedairthatiscontrolledtoaspecifiedpressureandtemperature.Anequationisgiventocalculatethederivedcetanenumber(DCN)fromtheignitiondelaymeasurement.Thisstandardisapplicabletodieselfuels,includingthosecontainingFAME.Themethodisalsoapplicabletomiddledistillatefuelsofnon-petroleumorigin.However,usersapplyingthisstandardespeciallytounconventionaldieselfuelsarewarnedthattherelationshipbetweenderivedcetanenumberandcombustionbehaviourinrealenginesisnotyetfullyunderstood.Thestandardcoverstheignitiondelayrangefrom3,3msto6,4ms(61DCNto34DCN).Thecombustionanalysercanmeasureshorterorlongerignitiondelays,butprecisioncanbeaffected.NOTEForthepurposeofthisEuropeanStandard,theexpression"%(V/V)"isusedtorepresentthevolumefractionand"%(m/m)"themassfraction.WARNING--Theuseofthisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
